Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and then stir in buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and pour into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let it cool before frosting with a mixture of powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
  7. Cut into bites and serve.
