- 1 cup rice
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Combine the rice, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in the slow cooker.
- Stir well and cover.
- Cook on low for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender and the pudding is creamy.
- Serve warm or chilled with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, substitute half of the milk with cream.
- Can be topped with raisins or nuts for added texture.
