- 4 chicken breasts boneless and skinless
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup Marsala wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the turkey bacon in a large pan until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add olive oil and butter, then cook the chicken breasts until golden brown.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until soft.
- Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan.
- Add the cooked turkey bacon back to the pan.
- Simmer until the sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
- Serve hot over pasta or rice.
