Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup Marsala wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a large pan until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add olive oil and butter, then cook the chicken breasts until golden brown.
  3. Add the mushrooms and cook until soft.
  4. Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan.
  5. Add the cooked turkey bacon back to the pan.
  6. Simmer until the sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
  7. Serve hot over pasta or rice.
