- 1/2 cup buttermilk

Instructions

- Continue boiling for about 5 minutes without stirring, or until the mixture reaches a soft ball stage (234°F to 240°F).
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla, baking soda, and pecans.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper and let cool until set.
