Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. In another bowl, combine blackberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Spoon the blackberry mixture over the crust.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the blackberries.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Let cool before cutting into bars.
