Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, butter, and salt until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the crumb base in the dish.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top of the cream layer.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before cutting into bars.
