Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup heart-shaped sprinkles


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until creamy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Spread the cookie dough evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle the heart-shaped sprinkles on top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
