Description

Golden, cheesy garlic bread stuffed with a creamy mixture of crab and shrimp – the perfect party appetizer or holiday treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread or baguette
  • ½ lb cooked shrimp, chopped
  • ½ cup cooked crab meat
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Optional: red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix shrimp, crab, cream cheese, mozzarella, garlic, mayonnaise, Old Bay, and optional red pepper flakes.
  3. Cut bread into 3–4 inch pieces and hollow out the centers.
  4. Spoon seafood mixture into each piece, press gently to seal if needed.
  5. Brush outsides with melted garlic butter.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm with optional dipping sauces.
