- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 strips turkey bacon
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- In the same skillet, cook ground beef and onions until browned.
- Add rice, water, salsa, and taco seasoning. Stir and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- Remove from heat, stir in crumbled bacon and top with cheese.
- Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
