Description

A delicious blend of steak and shrimp stir-fried with noodles and vegetables, perfect for a special at-home meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces lo mein noodles
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, sliced thin
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • ΒΌ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steak and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
  5. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove shrimp and set aside with the steak.
  7. Add bell pepper, snap peas, garlic, and ginger; stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Add the steak and shrimp back to the skillet along with cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil; toss to combine.
  9. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the steak in soy sauce and ginger before cooking.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or broccoli.
