Description

A delicious and comforting grilled cheese sandwich featuring sun-dried tomatoes, fresh spinach, and creamy ricotta cheese, perfect for cozy days.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Spread garlic powder, salt, and pepper onto one side of each slice of bread.
  2. On the unseasoned side, spread a layer of ricotta cheese.
  3. Add spinach and sun-dried tomatoes on top of the ricotta.
  4. Top with another slice of bread, seasoned side out, to form a sandwich.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  6. Once melted, place the sandwich in the skillet and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.

  • For extra flavor, consider adding mozzarella cheese.
