- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup strawberries, chopped
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the melted butter and buttermilk, stirring until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface, then spread with cinnamon and brown sugar mixture.
- Top with chopped strawberries and roll up tightly.
- Cut into rolls and place in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- For the glaze, whisk together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over warm rolls before serving.
