Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the melted butter and buttermilk, stirring until a dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough out on a floured surface, then spread with cinnamon and brown sugar mixture.
  5. Top with chopped strawberries and roll up tightly.
  6. Cut into rolls and place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. For the glaze, whisk together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and lemon juice until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over warm rolls before serving.
