Description

Enjoy these flavorful spinach garlic meatballs stuffed with creamy mozzarella for a delicious twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, spinach, garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and beaten egg. Mix until well combined.
  3. Take a small amount of the mixture, flatten it in your palm, and place a cube of mozzarella in the center. Wrap the meat around the cheese and roll it into a ball.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped fresh herbs to the mixture.
  • You can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef for a lighter option.
