- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat.
- Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Serve warm with pasta or on their own.
