These Spinach and Ricotta Meatballs are a delicious and comforting twist on a classic dish, combining fresh spinach and creamy ricotta for a flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, until cooked through.
  5. In a saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat.
