- 8 ounces pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup asparagus, chopped
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add asparagus and turkey bacon, cooking until asparagus is tender, about 2-3 minutes.
- Combine shrimp mixture with pasta, toss well. Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
- This can be made with any pasta shape you prefer.
