Description

A delicious and easy recipe for Shrimp Asparagus Pasta featuring turkey bacon, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup asparagus, chopped
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add asparagus and turkey bacon, cooking until asparagus is tender, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Combine shrimp mixture with pasta, toss well. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with parmesan cheese before serving.
