- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties until browned on both sides.
- Remove the patties and set aside.
- Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and stir to combine.
- Slowly add beef broth while stirring continuously until thickened.
- Return the patties to the skillet, spoon sauce over them, and simmer for 10 minutes.
