Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties until browned on both sides.
  4. Remove the patties and set aside.
  5. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until softened.
  6. Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and stir to combine.
  7. Slowly add beef broth while stirring continuously until thickened.
  8. Return the patties to the skillet, spoon sauce over them, and simmer for 10 minutes.
