Description

A delicious twist on a classic Salisbury steak recipe using turkey bacon for extra flavor and juiciness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into patties.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Add beef broth to the skillet, bring to a simmer, and cover. Cook for 10 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry. Stir into the skillet and cook until the sauce thickens.

Notes
