Description

This rich and creamy mushroom steak sauce is inspired by the flavors of Ruth’s Chris Steak House, perfect for enhancing your steak experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until soft and golden, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth, stirring to combine.
  4. Mix in the Worcestershire sauce and thyme, and simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
