- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until soft and golden, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth, stirring to combine.
- Mix in the Worcestershire sauce and thyme, and simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
