- 2 cups pancake mix
- 2 cups milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix pancake mix, milk, eggs, syrup, and vanilla until well combined.
- Spread the cooked sausage evenly in a greased baking dish.
- Pour the pancake batter over the sausage and sprinkle with chocolate chips if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
