- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed OREO cookies
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: milk, oil, egg, and vanilla.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the crushed OREO cookies gently.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
