A delicious twist on the classic burger with turkey bacon and pizza flavors.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 6 strips turkey bacon
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- Optional: sliced pepperoni
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, cooked turkey bacon (chopped), mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Grill or cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until they are fully cooked.
- Optional: add sliced pepperoni on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking.
- Serve the patties on hamburger buns with extra pizza sauce if desired.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the turkey with spices prior to cooking.
- Feel free to add your favorite pizza toppings to the burgers.
