Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless chicken thighs, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons water


Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute.
  4. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
  6. Cook until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
