- 1 pound boneless chicken thighs, sliced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons water
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken and cook until browned.
- Stir in the garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute.
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
- Cook until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
