Ingredients

- 3 large eggs

- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Make the pasta dough by mixing flour, eggs, olive oil, and salt until smooth.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta, Parmesan, basil, and black pepper for the filling.
- Roll out the pasta dough and cut it into squares.
- Place a spoonful of filling on half of the squares, then fold and seal with water.
- Boil ravioli in salted water until they float to the top.
- In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce and stir in heavy cream.
- Serve ravioli topped with the sauce.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add more herbs to the filling.
- Freshly grated Parmesan works best for this recipe.
