Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups quick oats
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat until creamy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract and oats, followed by chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the batter evenly in a greased baking pan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
