- 1 cup crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix the crushed pretzels and melted butter, then press into the bottom of the pan.
- In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
- Spread half of the cookie dough over the pretzel crust.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the cookie layer.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough on top of the cheesecake layer.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and toffee bits over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden and set.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For a more intense chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- These bars can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
