Description

Lemon Tiramisu is a light and refreshing take on the classic Italian dessert, perfect for warm weather and guaranteed to impress your guests.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 cup lemon-flavored sponge cake or ladyfingers
  • 1 cup brewed lemon tea or lemon-flavored beverage
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  2. Dip each sponge cake or ladyfinger into the brewed lemon tea briefly, then layer them in a serving dish.
  3. Add a layer of the mascarpone mixture on top of the sponge cake.
  4. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone mixture on top.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to set.
  6. Before serving, dust the top with powdered sugar.

Notes

  • For a stronger lemon flavor, add more lemon zest.
