Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 (3 oz) package lemon Jell-O
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed pretzels, sugar, and melted butter. Mix well and press into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes and let it cool completely.
  4. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and spread over the cooled pretzel crust.
  5. In a separate bowl, dissolve lemon Jell-O in boiling water. Stir in cold water and lemon juice.
  6. Pour the lemon mixture over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.
  7. Cut into squares and serve chilled.
