- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat the chicken breasts with the honey mustard mixture and place them in a baking dish.
- Add the asparagus around the chicken, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Sprinkle cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey mustard mixture for a few hours before cooking.
- Feel free to mix in other vegetables with the asparagus.
