- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, orzo, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the orzo is tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Serve hot.
