Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups sliced peaches
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the sliced peaches and 1/2 cup sugar. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Stir in melted butter and vanilla until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  6. Layer the peach mixture over the crust, then sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
