  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel bits


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture.
  5. Stir in the pecans, chocolate chips, and caramel bits.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until slightly firm but still gooey.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
