Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar. Gradually add the milk and melted butter, mixing until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and spoon the peach mixture over the top.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
