A deliciously simple peach cobbler perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar. Gradually add the milk and melted butter, mixing until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and spoon the peach mixture over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for an indulgent treat.
- For a twist, add a splash of bourbon to the peach mixture.
