Description

A delicious and easy recipe for Crockpot French Onion Meatloaf topped with melted Swiss cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup French onion soup
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, French onion soup, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the crockpot.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, place the Swiss cheese slices on top of the meatloaf to melt.
  5. Once cooked, carefully remove the meatloaf from the crockpot and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
