A delicious and easy recipe for Crockpot French Onion Meatloaf topped with melted Swiss cheese.

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup French onion soup
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, French onion soup, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, place the Swiss cheese slices on top of the meatloaf to melt.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the meatloaf from the crockpot and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding chopped fresh herbs to the meatloaf mixture.
- Pair the meatloaf with mashed potatoes or a green salad for a complete meal.
