Description

A delightful combination of crispy flatbread topped with creamy ricotta, sweet roasted apples, and crunchy walnuts.


Ingredients

  • 2 flatbreads
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 apples, sliced
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the apple slices with olive oil, honey, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Spread the apple mixture onto a baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the flatbreads by spreading ricotta cheese evenly on each.
  5. Once the apples are roasted, top the ricotta flatbreads with the apples and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
  6. Bake in the oven for an additional 10-12 minutes until the edges are crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
