- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the chopped turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque.
- Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
- Allow the sauce to simmer until slightly thickened.
- Bring back the cooked turkey bacon and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes.
- Serve with pasta or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
