- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cold butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar.
- Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add water a tablespoon at a time until the dough comes together.
- Roll out the dough and cut it into strips.
- Wrap the strips around cream horn molds and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
- Allow to cool before filling with whipped cream.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a bit of almond extract to the cream.
- Make sure the dough is chilled before baking to maintain flakiness.
