Description

Delicious stuffed mushrooms filled with turkey bacon and beef make a perfect appetizer for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 16 ounces large mushrooms
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  5. Add the ground beef to the skillet, seasoning with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
  6. Mix in the breadcrumbs, cooked turkey bacon, and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Stuff the mushroom caps with the beef mixture.
  8. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add some chopped jalapeños to the stuffing mixture.
  • These can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking.
