Description

This Cinnamon Roll Poke Cake is the ultimate indulgent dessert that combines the flavors of cinnamon rolls with a moist and sweet cake.


Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, milk, and oil. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes, then poke holes all over the cake with a fork.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth. Drizzle this mixture over the cake, letting it seep into the holes.
  6. In another bowl, mix the maple syrup and cinnamon. Drizzle this mixture over the top of the cake.
  7. Allow to cool completely before serving.
