Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for about 15 minutes.
  6. Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk with cinnamon and pour it over the warm cake.
  8. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form. Spread over the cake.
  9. Sprinkle with chopped pecans before serving.
