- 2 cans cinnamon roll dough
- 4 cups sliced apples
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly.
- Slice the cinnamon rolls into quarters and layer half in the bottom of the dish.
- Mix apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and walnuts in a bowl, then spread half of this mixture over the cinnamon roll layer.
- Repeat with the remaining cinnamon rolls and apple mixture.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla, then spoon over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
