Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the softened butter, milk, and egg, then mix into the dry ingredients until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
- In a separate bowl, mix the diced apples with cinnamon and vanilla.
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture on each square of dough, then fold the corners to seal.
- Arrange the danishes on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
