Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wrap each chicken breast with turkey bacon and secure with toothpicks.
  3. In a shallow bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
  5. Dip each chicken breast into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and again in the flour.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, add chicken broth and lemon juice.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
