Description

A delicious meatloaf stuffed with gooey cheese and topped with a tangy tomato glaze, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and parsley until well combined.
  3. Form half of the meat mixture into a loaf shape and place it on a baking sheet.
  4. Press the shredded cheese into the center of the loaf, then cover it with the remaining meat mixture, sealing the edges.
  5. Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
