- 2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
- 4 ounces turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish. Layer half the potatoes in the dish.
- Sprinkle half the turkey bacon and half the cheddar cheese over the potatoes.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour half of this mixture over the layered potatoes.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the top is golden and the potatoes are tender.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped chives or green onions on top before serving.
- Make sure to slice the potatoes uniformly for even cooking.
