Description

This Cheesy Cabbage Gratin is a comforting dish that combines buttery cabbage with creamy cheese and crispy turkey bacon, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, add the chopped cabbage and cook until softened.
  4. Mix in heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir in half of the cheddar cheese and the turkey bacon.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
