- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread half of the brownie batter in the prepared pan, then layer with the cheesecake mixture, and top with the remaining brownie batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For an extra touch, swirl some melted chocolate on top before baking.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely for easier cutting.
