Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and olive oil, and knead until smooth.
  3. Cover dough and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm spot.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Punch down the dough, roll it into small balls, and stuff with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Place rolls on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter mixed with minced garlic and parsley.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
