- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, and melted butter.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the chocolate mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a fudgier cookie, bake for a shorter time.
