Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the chocolate mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
