- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon zest

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and powdered sugar.
- Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, baking powder, and salt.
- Pour the lemon mixture over the crust and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes.
- Cool completely before slicing into bars and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
