- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Add vegetable oil and warm water to the flour mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth, then cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
- In a skillet, sauté onion and green chilies until softened. Add chopped turkey bacon, cumin, black pepper, and parsley. Mix well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll them out into thin circles.
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each circle and fold the edges over to seal.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry each stuffed pancake until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
